Contract Disputes

Contract disputes

There are a range of different disputes that we deal with and may represent you, advocating on your behalf to either prosecute or defend.  We have experience with the litigation process in breach of contract, frustration, fraud, the Consumer Protection Act., and so on . While litigation can be be a lengthy process, we work efficiently to ensure that your matter proceeds as quickly as possible in an effort to recover on your behalf, or alternately, to end the litigation so that you can move on with your life.

Strategize the Case Theory and Collect the Documents required to Draft a Claim

We will sit with you and review your documents, hear your story and determine the best course of action to pursue recovery on your behalf. After developing an action plan and preparing the pleadings, we will work with you to respond to the other party in an effort to negotiate and mediate without having to attend trial.  If this is not possible, we will pursue the litigation process vigorously to protect your interests.

Discovery of documents and witnesses

After the pleadings stage has closed, and any motions have been heard, the preparation of the documents essential to your matter must be prepared and exchanged with the opposing parties. Thereafter, there may be discovery of witnesses, through examinations, to allow us to prepare for trial and build your case.

pre-trial and trial preparation

Assuming that negotiations have failed, and even at pre-trial a determination of the issues has not led to a resolution, we will prepare for trial and advocate using a strategy that is intent on pursuing your interests to the fullest extent of the law.

If you would like to discuss a legal issue that you think you may have, please contact us either in person or by form, and we can go over your issues and advise you on what your options are. Sometimes talking through a problem is the best way to determine if in fact there is any recourse available, and knowing your options is your legal right.
